About this job
Our company is looking for an over-the-road CDL-A driver to haul dry van freight to customers across multiple locations. You'll run routes on the road full-time, keeping deliveries on schedule while staying safe and compliant.
Pay
- $2,000.00 to $3,500.00 per week
What you'll haul
- Dry van freight, delivered to various locations
What you'll do
- Handle a tractor-trailer safely from pickup to drop-off
- Check the truck before and after each trip for safety and compliance
- Map out routes that keep deliveries on time and save fuel
- Log your hours and mileage accurately
- Keep dispatch updated on any delays or problems on the road
- Follow all local, state and federal trucking regulations
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- At least 6 months of verifiable CDL-A driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years (per CDLIS)
- Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
- No drug or alcohol violations on the Clearinghouse in the past 3 years
- Strong time management and attention to detail for logs and compliance
- Good communication with dispatchers and clients
