About this job
Our company is looking for an OTR driver to run long-haul routes hauling a mix of freight. You'll work with manual transmission tractor-trailers and handle loads that include flatbed, tanker, and refrigerated freight.
Pay
- $0.43 - $0.72 per mile
What you'll haul

What you'll do
- Drive manual transmission rigs over extended distances while following traffic and safety rules
- Load and unload cargo, using a forklift when needed
- Secure freight properly to avoid shifting in transit
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks for DOT compliance
- Keep accurate logs of hours, routes and cargo
- Stay in contact with dispatch about schedules and route changes
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license with endorsements matching the freight you haul (tanker endorsement, for example)
- Experience driving manual transmission trucks
- Background in long-haul or route driving
- Comfortable handling different trailer types: reefer, flatbed, tanker, dump
- Forklift or roll-off equipment experience is a plus
- CDL A preferred
