About this job
Our company is looking for an experienced CDL-A driver to run dry van freight over the road as a 1099 contractor. You'll keep freight moving on long-haul lanes while handling your own truck operations and paperwork.
Pay
- You earn 28% of the gross on each load
- Rate confirmations are sent straight to you, so you see exactly what each load pays
- Based on recent runs, this has worked out to roughly $2,187.83 to $2,855.23 per week

Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with at least 2 years of verifiable driving experience
- A clean driving record, free of recent violations or accidents
- Solid understanding of DOT rules and safe driving practices
- Able to handle the physical demands of long hours behind the wheel
- Professional, dependable, and a strong communicator with dispatch and customers
What the job involves
- Running pre-trip and post-trip inspections every time
- Keeping accurate logs of your hours, miles, and cargo paperwork
- Making sure freight is loaded and secured safely
- Reporting any mechanical problems right away
- Sticking to safety rules, traffic laws, and company procedures throughout each run
