About this job
Our company is looking for OTR CDL-A drivers in Chino, CA to haul refrigerated freight over long distances, running either solo or as part of a team. You'll handle modern tractor-reefer equipment and keep freight moving safely and on schedule.
Pay
- $0.65 - $0.70 per mile
What you'll haul
- Refrigerated trailers (tractor-reefers), loading and unloading freight and securing cargo properly for transit
What the job involves
- Running OTR routes solo or with a team partner
- Using GPS to plan efficient routes and adjust in real time
- Keeping accurate driving logs, delivery records and inspection reports per FMCSA rules
- Doing routine equipment checks and flagging maintenance needs
- Staying in touch with dispatch on route progress, delivery status and any issues
- Following FMCSA and DOT safety and regulatory standards
Requirements
- CDL-A with solid OTR driving experience
- Clean driving record and the ability to safely manage long hours on the road
- Comfortable loading and unloading freight by hand, including refrigerated cargo
- Working knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations
- Skilled with GPS navigation and able to follow loading, unloading and routing procedures closely
