About this job
Our company is looking for a dependable CDL-A driver to haul freight over the road across the country, with experience handling refrigerated, flatbed and tanker trailers.
Pay
- $0.70 to $0.75 per mile, or up to 30%-32% of gross as an alternative structure
- Your exact rate depends on your driving record and inspection history, decided at interview
- You may start at a lower rate with a review after 60 days based on performance
- All miles paid address to address
- Safety bonuses for clean DOT inspections: Level 1 $450, Level 2 $250, Level 3 $75
- Extra stop pay $50, solo layover $100, detention pay $20-$100
What you'll haul
- General freight using refrigerated, flatbed and tanker trailers
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A with a clean driving record
- Prior truck driving experience
- Willingness to drive at night when needed
What you'll do
- Run your assigned truck on U.S. routes, delivering on time
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections
- Keep accurate logs and follow FMCSA rules
- Stay in touch with dispatch on schedule changes or delays
- Keep the truck clean, fueled and road-ready
- Report any mechanical problems right away
