OTR Box Truck Driver — $900–$1,400/Week

Drive a 26ft box truck on over-the-road routes, hauling automobile parts and other specialized freight across long distances. You'll handle route planning, loading and unloading, and keep everything compliant with FMCSA and DOT rules.

• Automobile parts and other specialized cargo in a 26ft box truck

What the job involves

• Running optimized routes using GPS for on-time deliveries

• Loading and unloading cargo with care, using proper handling methods to avoid damage or injury

• Keeping accurate records of hours driven, deliveries made, and inspections completed

• Doing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections before and after every run

• Following FMCSA and DOT rules, including those covering hazardous materials where applicable

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean record

• Experience driving for deliveries, freight hauling, or similar long-distance route work

• Comfortable operating manual transmission trucks and handling tractor-trailers safely

• Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and hazmat regulations

• Solid grasp of GPS-based route planning and the ability to adjust routes in real time

• Strong knowledge of cargo loading, unloading, and general freight handling

• Reliable commitment to safety protocols and regulatory standards
