OTR Box Truck Driver — $1,000–$2,000/Week

Our company needs an experienced box truck driver for over-the-road routes across the country. You'll handle long-haul deliveries while keeping safety and on-time service a top priority.

Pay

• $1,000.00 - $2,000.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Box truck freight on long-distance routes spanning multiple states

• Pickups and drop-offs at designated customer locations, delivered on schedule

Requirements

• Valid CDL with the endorsements needed to run a box truck

• At least one year of recent experience driving a box truck or similar commercial vehicle on the road

• Current DOT medical card

• Fluent English, spoken and written, for communicating with dispatch and customers

• Solid grasp of DOT rules, traffic laws and safety practices

• Comfortable working independently, managing your own time on long runs, and troubleshooting issues that pop up mid-trip

• Must stay within Hours of Service limits

What the job involves

• Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to stay DOT-compliant

• Keeping accurate logs of deliveries, mileage and fuel use

• Following all applicable transportation laws at the federal, state and local level

• Staying in touch with dispatch and customers about schedules or delays
