About this job
Our company is looking for a dependable driver to haul freight over the road in a 24'-26' automatic box truck, with trips that can keep you out for up to two weeks at a stretch.
Pay
- Starts at $800 a week, paid on a contract basis
What you'll haul
- General freight in a 24' to 26' automatic transmission straight truck
- You'll load and unload using a pallet jack and liftgate
Responsibilities
- Run your assigned route while following traffic and safety rules
- Do a pre-trip check before every departure and make sure cargo is strapped down securely
- Keep accurate logs of your hours and deliveries
- Stay in touch with dispatch about your status and any issues on the road
Requirements
- No CDL needed, but you must hold a valid driver's license with a clean record
- Current Medical DOT card
- At least 2 years of driving experience in the US
- Comfortable navigating routes and handling logistics independently
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
