Non-CDL Box Truck Driver — OTR & Local Routes, $1,000–$2,500/wk

Our company LLC needs dependable box truck drivers for a mix of over-the-road and local work out of Santa Clarita, CA. You'll run a 26-foot box truck on interstate hauls as well as routes around California, with trips that can keep you out 1-3 weeks depending on freight available. No CDL is required, though having one is a plus.

Pay

• $1,000.00 - $2,500.00 per week

• Exact pay rate discussed during your interview

What you'll haul

• Freight moved in a 26-foot box truck

• A combination of long-haul interstate runs and occasional in-state deliveries

Schedule

• Full-time

• Expect stretches of 1-3 weeks on the road, with routes and schedules that can shift

• Some local trips throughout California as well

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history

• No CDL needed, but a Class A or Class B CDL is welcomed

• Prior experience driving a box truck or doing delivery/commercial driving is a plus

• Able and willing to drive long distances across state lines and stay out for multi-week trips

• Comfortable using GPS and following delivery instructions

• Reliable, on time, and professional in how you handle the job

• Able to meet standard driver qualification and safety checks

What the job involves

• Driving the box truck safely on local, regional and OTR runs

• Doing pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Securing freight properly so it isn't damaged in transit

• Completing pickup and delivery paperwork correctly

• Staying in touch with dispatch about your schedule and deliveries

• Following DOT rules and other safety standards

• Keeping your truck clean and well cared for
