About this job
Our company needs a box truck driver for local and over-the-road runs, no CDL required. You'll run a 26-foot box truck equipped with a lift-gate, hauling pallets and packages.
Pay
- $170.00 - $200.00 per day
What you'll haul
- Pallet goods and packages from origin to destination, using a 26ft box truck with lift-gate
Responsibilities
- Secure freight properly during transport
- Get signatures confirming each delivery
- Check load contents against the manifest
- Report traffic issues or delays to your manager
- Inspect your truck before and after trips, and keep it clean
- Follow DOT and MC rules, and drive safely for conditions
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- At least 2 years of experience driving a 26ft box truck with a lift-gate
- Current DOT physical card
- Good physical and mental condition
- Basic truck maintenance knowledge
- TWIC Card is a plus but not required
