About this job
Our company in Calgary, AB is hiring a long haul driver to run tractor-trailers on regional and national routes. You will haul Dry Van freight in automatic transmission trucks and keep deliveries safe and on time.
Pay
- From $70,600.89 per year
- Full-time, permanent position
What you'll do
- Drive long-distance routes in an automatic tractor-trailer
- Load and unload freight when needed
- Inspect your vehicle before and after each trip
- Record your driving hours, routes and deliveries in line with DOT rules
- Stay in touch with dispatch about schedules and route changes
- Make sure cargo is properly secured
- Help plan routes that save time and fuel
Requirements
- Class 1 licence with a clean driving record
- 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Long-haul or route driving background
- Dry Van 53' experience
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Experience with dump or roll-off trucks is a bonus
