Local Route Driver — $20–$23/hr

Our company is hiring a fill-in utility driver in Dayton, OH to cover open and vacation routes, with a path to becoming a regular Route Service Representative. You'll drive a company vehicle on local linen delivery and pickup stops.

Pay

• $20 - $23 an hour

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work around holidays

What you'll do

• Drop off and collect linens at customer sites

• Act as the face of the company for customers, keeping them satisfied

• Load and unload items following safety rules

• Fill out paperwork and keep accurate delivery records

• Field and resolve routine customer questions

• Keep yourself and the vehicle looking professional

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving history

• No felony convictions on background check

• Able to pass a drug screen and DOT physical

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Comfortable with basic math for verifying orders and billing

• Minimum age 25

• Able to lift and carry 50-75 lbs regularly, with frequent bending and standing, including in different weather conditions
