Local Class 1/3 Delivery Driver — $23–$35/hr

IGloo Transport is hiring local delivery drivers in the Halifax area to pick up and drop off goods around the city and nearby communities. You'll handle loading, unloading, and paperwork while keeping customers happy and deliveries on time.

Pay

• $23.00 to $35.00 per hour, with pay depending on your experience and skills

• Expect to work 35 to 40 hours a week

What you'll do

• Collect and drop off freight across Halifax and surrounding areas, keeping runs safe and punctual

• Load and unload shipments as dispatch directs, and resolve any problems that come up along the route

• Log delivery paperwork and shipment details using the company's TMS software

• Talk with customers directly and manage any special delivery needs on-site

• Check your vehicle regularly and keep it clean and roadworthy

• Obey traffic rules and the company's safety policies

Requirements

• A valid Canadian Class 1 or Class 3 licence with an Air Brake endorsement

• Knowledge of Halifax-area roads is helpful; prior local driving experience is a bonus

• Solid spoken and written English for talking with dispatch and customers and completing delivery records

• Basic comfort with computers or mobile devices to run TMS software

• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends when needed

• A clean driving record free of major violations

• Reliability, punctuality, and a customer-first attitude

• Legal authorization to work in Canada
