About this job
Our company is looking for a CDL B driver in Baton Rouge, LA for a local, home-daily route driving a 26' straight truck. You'll deliver HVAC equipment and parts within an 80-200 mile radius of Baton Rouge, solo, with touch freight and live unloads.
Pay
- $25.46 per hour, paid weekly
- Typically $1018 or more per week based on 40+ hours
- Paid training
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM start
- 40+ hours per week
- Home daily
What you'll haul
- HVAC equipment and parts, touch freight with live unloads
- Equipment provided: pallet jack and hand truck
- Trucks are 36 months or newer with 24/7 roadside maintenance support
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Class A or Class B experience: 9 months in the past 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years
- Hazmat endorsement required
- Pass a drug test, background and motor vehicle check, DOT physical, and road test
