About this job
Our company is looking for a local Class B driver based in Richmond, CA, running daily routes delivering beverages with heavy touch freight. You'll be home every day after your shift.
Pay
- $28.00 per hour, paid weekly
- Typical schedule runs 50-60 hours per week, which can bring weekly earnings to $1,750 or more
- Paid training included
Schedule
- Works Tuesday through Saturday
- Start time around 5:00 am
What you'll haul
- Delivers solo to Gilroy, the Bay Area, Redding and Tahoe
- Drives a straight truck with reefer trailers in 16', 24' and 26' sizes
- Freight is heavy-touch beverage product, using a manual pallet jack, hand truck and lift gate
- Trucks are 36 months old or newer, backed by 24/7 roadside support and a large maintenance network
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with the right endorsements
- Verifiable tractor-trailer (or comparable) experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, 2 years in the last 5, or 5 years in the last 10
- Must pass a drug screen, background and motor vehicle check, DOT physical, and a our company road test
- Able to follow instructions and apply relevant laws and procedures
