Local CDL-B Delivery Driver — $32.06/hr

Our company is hiring a local CDL-B delivery driver in Honolulu, HI to run a tractor-trailer route delivering food and beverage products to customers, with hands-on unloading and customer interaction. Expect early starts, some overtime, and occasional weekend or holiday work to keep routes on schedule.

What you'll haul

• Food and beverage products delivered by tractor-trailer to our company customers

Responsibilities

• Run your assigned delivery route and keep management informed of any schedule changes

• Unload goods by hand or hand cart, sometimes down ramps, stairs or docks in any weather

• Lift and move items from 1 to 100 pounds and reach up to 72 inches to handle pallets

• Get delivery paperwork signed and report any invoice discrepancies, errors or returns

• Collect payment when required and process damaged or returned goods with proper documentation

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, DOT logs and vehicle maintenance reports

• Keep your tractor, trailer and work areas clean and safe

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL with a driving record that meets company insurance standards

• At least 21 years old

• 1 year of commercial driving experience, or completion of our company's Entry-Level Driver Training Program

• High school diploma or GED

• 2 years of local food or beverage delivery experience, including pallet breakdown and hand cart work

• Able to pass required employment testing

• Sufficient English skills to read signs, communicate with the public and complete reports

• Basic math skills
