Local CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, Up to $36.11/hr

Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver to run a consistent US Mail route out of Newark, NJ, with daily home time. The schedule runs Tuesday through Sunday, 4:00 AM to 5:15 PM, with up to 60 hours available some weeks.

Pay

• Base rate of $30.00 per hour plus $6.11 per hour in HWP (health and welfare pay), for a combined $36.11 per hour

• Empty miles pay $32.00 per hour

• HWP funds group health coverage for eligible employees and is paid for up to 40 hours weekly

Home time

• You're home every day on this local route

What you'll haul

• US Mail on a set, repeating route

Requirements

• At least 2 years holding a Class A license with relevant driving experience

• A clean driving and safety record (MVR/PSP)

• Ability to pass a criminal background check

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs overhead, climb into and out of the cab using three points of contact, couple and uncouple trailers, crank landing gear, and sit for at least 4 hours straight
