Local CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, No Weekends, $26.50/hr

Our company is looking for a Class A CDL driver in Fort Myers, FL for a local, home-daily route hauling HVAC equipment. You'll run solo within Florida on a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend work.

Pay

• $26.50 per hour, paid weekly

• Typical weekly earnings of $1060 or more

• At least 40 hours per week

• Paid training included

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, no weekends

• Start time of 6:00 AM

• Home every day

What you'll haul

• Dry van trailer carrying HVAC equipment (touch freight)

• You'll use a manual pallet jack and lift gate

• our company provides training on all required equipment

• Trucks are 36 months old or newer, backed by 24/7 roadside support and a nationwide network of over 800 maintenance locations

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL with the right endorsements for this route

• Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years

• Must pass our company's drug screening, background check, motor vehicle record review, DOT physical and road test

• Comfortable following written and verbal instructions and applying relevant regulations and procedures

What the job involves

• Following all applicable transportation laws and safety rules

• Spotting and addressing safety hazards on the job

• Keeping accurate logs and records

• Helping load and unload freight when needed

• Other duties as assigned
