About this job
Our company needs a CDL-A driver for a local, home-daily route out of Sacramento, CA. You'll run tractor-trailer combos, including doubles and triples, and be hands-on with loading and unloading freight.
Pay
- $33.45 to $41.38 per hour, increasing on an annual step scale
- Your exact rate depends on your experience and skills
Home time
- You're home every day
What you'll haul
- Doubles and triples tractor-trailer combinations
- Loads include both hazmat and non-hazmat materials
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Hold a valid Class A CDL
- Clean driving history
- Hazmat, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements needed within 90 days of starting (fine if you already have them)
- Clear a DOT drug screen, with no failed tests or refusals over the past 3 years
- Current DOT Medical Certification Card, or willingness to take a DOT physical paid for by the company
- Able to work flexible hours, shifts running 12-14 hours across days, nights, and weekends
- Forklift skills are a plus
