Local CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, $32/hr

Our company, part of Albertsons Companies, is hiring a local CDL-A truck driver for early AM dock-to-dock runs out of Wells, Maine. You'll be home after every shift with 2 consecutive days off each week.

Pay

• Starting pay of $32.00 per hour

• $0.77 per mile for trips over 315 miles

• $7,500 retention bonus paid out over 6 months

Home time

• Home after every shift

• 2 consecutive days off each week

What you'll haul

• Palletized freight, delivered dock-to-dock

• Mostly local routes using 53ft tractor-trailers

• Well-maintained, modern equipment

What you'll do

• Deliver and pick up product at store locations

• Use pallet jacks, load bars and ramps to handle freight

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and stay DOT compliant

• Work a flexible schedule, including some nights, weekends and holidays

Requirements

• 24 months of CDL-A driving experience

• Valid Class A Interstate CDL

• Experience with 53ft tractor-trailers

• At least 21 years old

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs of palletized freight

• Clean motor vehicle record
