Local CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, $27.89/hr

Our company is looking for a solo Class A driver to run local routes out of Tampa, FL, hauling US Mail in a 53' dry van within a 150-mile radius. You'll be home every day and paid weekly.

Pay

• $27.89 per hour, plus a possible $5.55 hourly Health & Welfare Stipend

• Average weekly earnings between $1,150 and $1,337, based on roughly 35-40 hours per week

• Paid training included

• Schedule runs 7 days a week with 1 day off; dispatch starts between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM

Home time

You'll be back home daily after each local run.

What you'll haul

• 53-foot dry van trailer, newer equipment (36 months or less)

• Touch freight involving US Mail, using rolling carts

• Trucks come with 24/7 roadside support and fueling access at 800+ locations nationwide

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Pass a drug screening, background check, and motor vehicle record review

• Pass a DOT physical and a road test with our company

• Hold a valid Class A CDL with any needed endorsements

• Have tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, 2 years in the last 5, or 5 years in the last 10

• Pass an additional USPS Federal Level 2 background screen

• Register with Selective Service if required by law
