Local CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, $23/hr

Our company is looking for a solo Class A CDL driver in Batesburg, SC for a local route with daily home time. You'll run no-touch reefer and tanker freight to nearby areas plus North Carolina and Georgia, driving a day cab.

Pay

• Paid weekly, averaging $1200-$1500 per week

• Base rate of $23.00 per hour

• $24.00 per hour if you hold a tanker endorsement

• Paid training included

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, local route, home daily

• Shifts begin between 2:30 AM and 4:30 AM

What you'll haul

• No-touch freight, driving solo

• Trailers are 48' and 53' reefer and tanker units

• Trucks are no older than 36 months, backed by 24/7 roadside help and fueling at more than 800 locations nationwide

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Reefer experience required

• Valid Class A license with needed endorsements

• Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5, or 5 years in the last 10

• Must pass a drug screening, background and motor vehicle check (including prior employer drug/alcohol history for 3 years), DOT physical, and a our company road test

• Able to follow instructions and apply relevant regulations and procedures

• Some assignments may require added screening such as employment/education checks or customer badging

Responsibilities

• Follow applicable federal and state transportation rules

• Spot and address safety risks on the road

• Keep accurate logs and records

• Help load or unload freight when the customer requires it
