Local CDL-A Truck Driver — $33.95/hr, Home Daily, 4-Day Week

Penske Logistics is looking for full-time local CDL-A drivers in Carson, CA to deliver grocery products to stores. You'll be home every day on a 4-day schedule.

Pay

• $33.95 per hour

• Overtime after 40 hours worked

• Paid every Friday

Home time and schedule

• Home daily

• 4-day work week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday

• Dispatch window runs from 6 am to 1 pm

What you'll haul

• Grocery products delivered to local stores

• Expect 8 to 10 stops per day, with unloading at each stop

• You'll drive late-model Penske trucks built for comfort, fitted with inward- and outward-facing cameras for safety

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL, with a U.S. address and license in your state of residence

• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card (current or able to obtain one)

• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years

• No more than two moving violations or accidents on your 3-year driving record

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening, and complete a Penske application

• English language proficiency required under federal rule 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)

• Able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs, and to safely get in and out of the cab and trailer
