Local CDL-A Truck Driver — $30.00/hr, Home Daily

Pitney Bowes is looking for a CDL-A driver to run local routes out of its Rancho Dominguez, CA facility, handling pickups and deliveries around the LA and Temecula areas on first shift.

Pay

• $30.00 per hour plus overtime

• Paid weekly

Schedule

• First shift, Monday through Friday, 11:00 am to 9:00 pm

• You'll need to be available for mandatory overtime, which can include weekends, holidays, or a different shift with little advance notice

Home time

• Home every day

What you'll haul

• Local pickups and deliveries in the LA and Temecula areas

• Minimal freight handling

• You'll drive clean, late-model tractors and trailers

What you'll do

• Log your mileage, stops and cargo each day using an ELD system or route sheet

• Hit pickup and delivery deadlines using the company's software tools

• Keep your vehicle and work area clean

• Follow all safety and security policies

• Use the required cell phone apps

• Show up reliably for your shifts

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL and meet DOT requirements

• At least six months of verifiable driving experience with a clean safety record

• Able to lift 50 lbs. or more, and to walk, stand, stoop and bend, with or without accommodation

• Able to read and speak English well enough to talk with the public, understand road signs, respond to official questions, and fill out reports
