Local CDL-A Truck Driver — $1,500–$2,000/week

Drive local routes out of Winter Haven, FL for our company, hauling freight that may include refrigerated trailers, flatbeds and tankers. You'll handle deliveries to customers and distribution centers while keeping everything DOT and FMCSA compliant.

Pay

• $1,500.00 to $2,000.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Tractor-trailers, with possible refrigerated, flatbed or tanker loads

• Freight that may include hazardous materials, requiring proper handling and documentation

Responsibilities

• Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your rig

• Load and unload cargo by hand or with equipment, securing it properly

• Use GPS to plan efficient local routes and stay on schedule

• Keep accurate logs of hours, deliveries and cargo paperwork

• Watch for mechanical problems and report them right away

• Represent the company well with strong customer service at each stop

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A with local driving experience

• Solid understanding of DOT and FMCSA rules, including hazmat handling where applicable

• Comfortable with manual transmission trucks

• Experience with refrigerated, flatbed or tanker equipment is a plus

• Strong focus on safe driving, load securement and traffic law compliance
