About this job
Our company' Charleston, SC 164 terminal is looking for a local company driver to run tanker freight requiring hazmat handling. You'll be home every day, though weekend work and occasional overnight runs are part of the schedule.
Pay
- $30 per hour, with no overtime pay
- Quarterly safety and performance bonuses
- Referral bonus: $3,000 paid out within 60 days, plus 5% of the referred driver's monthly earnings
Home time
- Home every day
- Expect weekend shifts and occasional overnight trips
What you'll haul
- Tanker loads requiring hazmat handling
- Trucks equipped with road-facing event recorders and collision avoidance systems
- Governed at 68 mph on the pedal and on cruise
- Hazmat safety training provided
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A with tanker and hazmat endorsements
- TWIC card
- At least 1 year of Class A tractor-trailer experience
