About this job
This is a dedicated local flatbed job hauling steel for our company out of Delta, OH. You work Monday through Friday on day shift, and shifts can run up to 14 hours. Steel hauling experience is a must.
Pay
- $1,500 per week, gross
- Per diem is listed with the pay
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, day shift
- Days can stretch to 14 hours
- Full-time
What you'll do
- Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Load your freight and secure it to FMCSA standards
- Drive a standard (manual) transmission safely and on time
- Check that your paperwork is accurate and complete
- Deliver product on time and keep in touch with the company and customers in a professional way
- Follow FMCSA and company rules
Requirements
- Class A CDL with at least 2 years of experience
- Steel hauling experience is required; the posting lists 3 years
- Age 21 or older
- Clean driving record, with no DUI/DWI convictions in the past 7 years
- Good knowledge of traffic laws and DOT regulations
- Able to lift 80 pounds during the day
- Clear verbal communication and listening skills
