About this job
This is a local CDL-A shuttle driving job out of Tempe, AZ, hauling for a Coke bottling operation. You start at the bottling facility, run about one load a day to regional distribution centers, and are usually home each night.
Pay
- Average pay is $1,222 a week (about $63,581 a year), and top earners reach $1,464 a week (about $76,140 annualized).
- Pay combines load pay and CPM.
- A $1,000 holiday start bonus is offered.
Schedule and home time
- Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays.
- Starts are early, around 3:00 AM to 4:00 AM, and shifts typically run 10 to 12 hours.
- You are home daily, apart from occasional overnight runs to Chinle.
What you'll haul
- A dedicated local shuttle with loads starting at the Tempe, AZ bottling facility.
- Roughly one load per day to distribution centers in Kingman, Flagstaff, Show Low (AZ), Gallup (NM) and Chinle (AZ).
- Live-unload, no-touch freight in slip-seat equipment.
Requirements
- A valid Class A CDL with at least 3 months of verifiable experience.
- Hazmat endorsement preferred when hired; you must earn Hazmat certification within 90 days.
- Your own reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- A clean driving record and a valid DOT medical card.
- Drivers in the SAP program are not eligible.
