About this job
Our company in Oklahoma City, OK 73102 needs a shuttle driver to run empty trailers out to the warehouse and bring loaded ones back to the yard. This is a 3rd-shift spot with a schedule that puts you home every day.
Pay
- $1,250 per week
Schedule
- Nights, Sunday through Thursday, 3rd shift
- Home every day
What you'll haul
- Tandem trailers, tractor-trailers, and/or straight trucks
- Running empties out and bringing loaded trailers back, across both intrastate and interstate lanes
Requirements
- Current Class A CDL with a Doubles endorsement
- Minimum 6 months behind the wheel in a commercial rig
- At least 21 years old
- Diploma or GED required
- No major violations on your driving record for the past 3 years
- Must clear a drug screen, background review, and road test
- Current DOT medical card
- Capable of lifting and moving freight by hand, roughly 10-90 pounds
What you'll do
- Complete DOT-required pre-trip and post-trip checks
- Connect and disconnect trailers the safe way
- Make sure cargo and equipment stay properly secured
- Keep accurate hours-of-service logs
- Deal with returned or damaged product as needed
- Keep your rig and workspace tidy
