About this job
Our company is hiring a local CDL-A pickup and delivery driver in Kansas City, KS. You'll run steady local routes, handle freight for customers, and get back home every night.
What you'll do
- Pick up and deliver freight on time and without damage
- Serve as the main point of contact with customers on your route
- Unload your trailer at the end of each daily run
Pay
- $1,925.00 per week
- Pickup and delivery drivers start at $35 an hour
Home time
- Local, home-daily routes
- Consistent, dependable lanes within the LTL network
Requirements
- At least 3 months of recent tractor-trailer driving experience
- HazMat and Tanker endorsements, or willingness to get them within 60 days
- Clean driving record
- No DUIs in the past 5 years, and no more than one in your lifetime
- Must pass a DOT drug screen and a hair follicle test
