About this job
Our company is looking for a local CDL-A driver to run intermodal container routes near Bell Gardens, CA. You'll be home every day, working night shifts on a schedule of either Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday.
Pay
- $1400 to $1800 per week
- Hazmat endorsement required
Home time
- Home daily
- Night shift schedule, either Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday
What you'll haul
- Intermodal container freight
- 1000 to 1500 miles per week
What you'll do
- Position containers as assigned
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and deliver loads on schedule
- Keep accurate logs and trip paperwork
- Stay in regular contact with dispatch and driver managers
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Hazmat endorsement
- At least 3 months of driving experience
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks
- Able to pass a DOT drug screen
