Local CDL-A Grocery Truck Driver — $25–$26/Hr, Home Daily

Drive a local reefer route hauling grocery freight for a steady 5-day schedule with nightly returns home. You'll run overnight shifts on late-model trucks equipped with an electric pallet jack.

Pay

• $25 per hour on day shift, $26 per hour on night shift

• Time and a half after 40 hours worked

• Paid out weekly

• Night shift drivers averaging 50 hours (including 10 overtime hours) can expect around $1,300 per week

Schedule

• Five shifts per week with two days off in a row

• Weekend work is part of the rotation

• Night runs begin at 11:00 PM

• Shifts typically run 10 to 12 hours

What you'll haul

• Dedicated grocery loads in refrigerated trailers

• Newer equipment fitted with an electric pallet jack

• Local routes that get you home every day

Requirements

• Current Class A CDL

• At least 9 months of tractor-trailer driving experience in the last 3 years

• Minimum age 22

• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years (some restrictions apply)

• No more than one preventable DOT-recordable accident in the last 3 years

• Compliant with DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse rules

• Sufficient English proficiency for safe driving, communication, and paperwork
