Local CDL-A FedEx Ground Driver — Home Daily, Guaranteed $1,200/Week

Our company is hiring CDL-A drivers to run FedEx Ground routes out of Orlando or Davenport, FL. You'll be home every day, working nights on a 5-day schedule, with drop-and-hook freight so there's no touch freight involved.

Pay

You're guaranteed a minimum weekly amount even if dispatch has no route for you that day, as long as you're available for your scheduled workdays and follow company guidelines. Base pay works out to $0.50 per mile, with an extra $0.15 per mile available through a performance bonus, for a possible total of $0.65 per mile. The company pays whichever is greater: your mileage earnings or your weekly guarantee. For reference, the posting notes that 2,500 miles in a week comes to about $1,625, and 3,000 miles comes to about $1,950. Overall pay is listed as $1,000 to $1,500 per week, paid weekly by direct deposit.

Home time

You're home daily, working an overnight shift five days a week. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available.

What you'll haul

You'll run FedEx Ground freight using a newer, well-maintained fleet, with drop-and-hook loads so you won't be loading or unloading freight yourself.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Doubles/Triples endorsement

• At least 1 year of CDL-A driving experience (though the pay/benefits section separately lists 3 years of heavy tractor-trailer experience as required)

• Current DOT medical card

• No DUI within the past 10 years

• No suspended or revoked license

• No felony convictions

• No speeding violations of 15+ mph over the limit

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Must pass a drug screening and meet English proficiency standards
