Local CDL-A Driver — Home Nightly, $30/Hr + Bonus

Our company is hiring a local CDL-A driver in North Hollywood, CA to deliver compressed gas cylinders to business customers using a company tractor trailer, straight, or box truck. You'll be home every night with a Monday-Friday schedule (occasional weekends), starting mornings and wrapping up in the late afternoon.

Pay

• $30/hr, depending on experience

• Monthly bonus opportunity

• $1000 referral bonus

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend work

• Morning start, finishing in the late afternoon

• Home every night

What you'll do

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your vehicle

• Load and unload gas cylinders and supplies each day

• Strap and unstrap cylinders safely

• Deliver to customer sites, often using a hand cart - expect frequent lifting and getting in and out of the truck

• Build and maintain good relationships with customers while delivering on time

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT and airbrake endorsements (HAZMAT is required)

• Current driver's license, medical card, and endorsements kept up to date

• No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in the past 3 years (or one of each, combined)

• No DUI or controlled substance violations in the past 7 years

• Able to work in a drug-free workplace

• Able to lift up to 75 lbs regularly and move loads over 125 lbs with equipment assistance

• At least 1 year of CDL driving experience within the last 5 years, or a trucking school completion certificate from within the last 5 years
