About this job
This local Class A CDL role runs out of Fontana, CA, hauling preloaded freight on set routes across Southern California, with occasional trips to Las Vegas, NV. You'll cover roughly 1,400 miles a week.
Home time
- Home every day
- Shifts run 6 days a week, weekends included
- Expect 10-12 hours on duty, with start times between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM
Pay
- Average yearly pay is $72,548
- Top earners bring in up to $96,660 a year
- Bonus incentives are also available
What you'll haul
- Freight comes preloaded; your job is to watch over the offload
- Some unloading needed on 28-foot trailers, using a manual pallet jack and liftgate
- You'll drive a new automatic-transmission day cab truck
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 3 months of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Live within 60 miles of Rialto, CA
- Have your own way to get to and from the yard each day
- Available to work 6 days a week, including weekends
- Must meet DOT and company hiring standards
