About this job
Our company is hiring a local CDL-A driver in Louisiana for first shift, Monday through Friday. You'll run local routes and get home every day, hauling no-touch freight.
Pay
- Starting at $28.50 per hour
- Overtime pay available after 40 hours worked in a week
- $3000 referral bonus
Schedule
- 1st shift, Monday through Friday
- Home daily
What you'll haul
- 53ft trailers, driven both on-site and on public roads
- No-touch freight
What the job involves
- Operating safely and following all company safety rules
- Doing routine vehicle inspections
- Staying in contact with dispatch throughout your shift
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean enough driving record
- At least 18 years old
- 6 months of CDL experience in the last 3 years operating equipment of this size or larger
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with multiple trailer types (tanks, vans, flatbeds) is a plus
