Local CDL-A Driver — Home Daily, $27.89/hr

Our company is looking for a Class A CDL driver to run a local route out of Tampa, FL, delivering US Mail with a dry van trailer. You'll be home every day on a Monday through Saturday schedule.

Pay

• $27.89 per hour, plus a possible $5.55 Health & Welfare Stipend

• Average weekly earnings of $1156-$1170

• Paid weekly, averaging about 35 hours a week

Schedule and route

• Monday through Saturday, with dispatch starting between 3:30 AM and 4:00 AM

• Solo driving within a 150-mile radius of Tampa, FL

• Local route, home daily

What you'll haul

• US Mail, touch freight, moved using rolling carts

• 53' dry van trailers, with trucks 36 months old or newer

• our company provides training on all the equipment you'll use

• Trucks come with 24/7 roadside maintenance support and access to more than 800 maintenance facilities nationwide for fueling

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL with the right endorsements for this role

• Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years

• Able to pass a our company drug test, background check, motor vehicle check, and DOT physical, plus a our company road test

• Able to follow written and verbal instructions and apply relevant laws, rules and procedures

• Because this account serves the USPS, you'll also need to clear a secondary Federal Level 2 background screen, and male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must be registered with Selective Service unless legally exempt
