Local CDL-A Driver — Home Daily, $27.89/hr Avg $1,394–$1,616/wk

Our company is looking for a Class A CDL driver to run local routes out of Tampa, FL, hauling US Mail with home time every day. Pay is weekly, and you'll be trained on all equipment needed for the job.

Pay

• Hourly rate of $27.89, plus a possible $5.55 Health & Welfare Stipend

• Weekly average earnings between $1,394 and $1,616

• Paid weekly

• Paid training included

Schedule

• Monday through Saturday

• Start time around 9:30 PM

• About 50 hours per week on average

What you'll haul

• Solo routes within a 150-mile radius of Tampa, FL

• Local, home-daily route

• Dry van tractor and 53' dry van trailer

• Touch freight: US Mail, moved using rolling carts

• Trucks are 36 months old or newer, with 24/7 roadside maintenance support and access to over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide for fueling

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL with required endorsements

• Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years

• Must pass a our company drug test, background check, motor vehicle check, and DOT physical, plus a our company road test

• Driving and alcohol/drug history verification from past employers covering the last 3 years

• Able to follow instructions and apply relevant laws, rules, and procedures

• Because this account serves the USPS, you'll also need to pass a secondary Federal Level 2 background screen and, if applicable, register for Selective Service
