About this job
Our company, a FedEx Ground contractor based in Ladson, SC, needs a solo CDL-A driver for a dedicated overnight route. You'll run a fixed 500-mile round trip out of Ladson and be back home every day.
Route and schedule
- Dedicated run: Ladson, SC round trip of about 500 miles
- Dispatch around 9PM, back by 6AM
- Working 5 to 6 days a week
- Solo, overnight hours, home daily with no nights away
What you'll haul
- Drop and hook freight only, so you won't be loading or unloading
- You'll run a 2022 Freightliner with an automatic transmission
Pay
- $265.00 to $315.00 per day, Monday through Friday
- Paid weekly
- Safety bonuses and other performance-based incentives available
Requirements
- Class A CDL with a Doubles endorsement
- At least 1 year of driving experience in the last 3 years, or 3 years within the last 5
- Clean driving history and a safety-focused mindset
- Must clear a background check
