Local CDL-A Driver — $28–$30/hr

Our company needs a Class A driver based out of their new Bangor facility to collect recyclable cans, glass, and plastic bottles. This is a local, Monday-to-Friday route with full-time hours.

Pay

• $28.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on your driving experience

• Paid weekly

• Expect 40 to 60 hours per week

What you'll haul

• Recyclable aluminum cans, glass, and plastic bottles collected on pickup routes

What you'll do

• Track materials collected and load trailers correctly

• Check your vehicle daily and report any problems

• Give feedback on stops and routes to help improve operations

• Follow DOT rules and the company's safety procedures

• Talk with staff and customers as needed

• Log inspections and invoices on an iPad

• Use an electric pallet jack regularly, and a forklift occasionally

Requirements

• Current Class A CDL with a clean record

• Comfortable doing manual labor up to five days a week

• Adaptable, positive, and works well with others

• Comfortable working outdoors in all of Maine's seasons

• Forklift or pallet jack experience helps but isn't required
