About this job
Our company is looking for Class A CDL drivers in Spartanburg, SC to run local routes for the Amazon Freight Partner program. You'd drive Amazon equipment on no-touch freight routes of about 300-500 round-trip miles, returning home after each shift. You'd be employed directly by our company, not Amazon.
Pay
- Starting pay of $24 per hour
- Benefits included for full-time employees
Schedule
- Shifts available in the afternoon, evening, overnight, weekday and weekend
- Consistent, year-round work with at least 40 hours per week
- Home after every shift
What you'll haul
- No-touch freight using Amazon equipment and technology
- Local daily routes of roughly 300-500 miles round trip
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 21 years old
- Minimum two years of driving experience
- Clean driving record, with no current suspension or revocation and a good DAC report
- Must pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
- Able to read, write and speak English well enough to handle road signs, official requests and paperwork
- Comfortable using a GPS, smartphone apps and handheld devices
- Flexible availability across day, evening, night and weekend shifts
