About this job
Our company needs a local Class A driver in Evanston, WY to run a set delivery route and hand-unload orders at customer stops. This is a route job, and most drivers get home every night.
What you'll haul
- Meat, produce, frozen items, groceries, dry goods and other supplies
- Deliveries go to customer sites on an assigned route, with manual unloading required
Home time
- Most routes have you back home at the end of the day
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Current Class A CDL and a driving record that qualifies for insurance coverage
- Must clear the company's standard pre-employment testing
- Enough English proficiency to talk with customers and read road signage
- Capable of lifting, pushing or moving 40-60 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 100 lbs
- Open to extra hours, weekend shifts and holiday work when the job calls for it
- A plus if you have: a year of hands-on delivery experience, half a year working with a hand truck, half a year in food and beverage delivery, and two years of steady employment history
