About this job
Our company is hiring a CDL Delivery Driver in Baton Rouge, LA to deliver products to stores on an assigned local route, home every night. The schedule is Monday through Saturday, rotating shift starting around 3:30am.
Pay
- From $52,925 annually, paid weekly
- Class A driver incentive program with potential annual bonus up to $2000 based on performance, attendance and safety
Home time
- Home every night
What you'll do
- Deliver and unload non-touch freight to customers on your route
- Communicate any store-level issues to management
- Collect breakage, out-of-date product, empty shells and pallets
- Accurately account for cases and customer transactions
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Use a handheld device to manage deliveries
- Occasionally merchandise product in-store to support the team
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 21 years old
- Able to meet DOT physical requirements
- High school diploma/GED, or 6-12 months of related experience
- Able to read, write and speak English
- Able to operate a manual or motorized pallet jack
