About this job
Walsh Door + Security, a family-owned company serving commercial construction customers, is hiring a Class A CDL driver for its Des Moines, Iowa location. You'll run local and regional routes delivering commercial doors, frames, and hardware to job sites, working Monday through Friday.
Home time
- Home daily
- 40-50 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with hours that vary by workload
- Occasional out-of-state day trips
What you'll haul
- Commercial doors, frames, and hardware to construction job sites and end users
- Load and unload materials by hand or with equipment
- Secure loads with DOT-compliant strapping
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean driving record
- Current DOT medical card
- Must be at least 21
- 5 years of experience preferred
- Pass a pre-employment physical fit test, drug screen, and background check
- Able to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physical tasks like bending and stooping
