Local CDL-A Delivery Driver — Home Daily, $32.09/hr + $10,000 Bonus

Our company is hiring a local CDL-A delivery driver in Coralville, IA. You'll run food service deliveries to customers and be home every day, with weekends off.

Pay

• Starting rate of $32.09 per hour, plus overtime

• Base rate for this role ranges from $32.09 to $34.14 depending on experience, skills and location

• $10,000 retention bonus for new hires who qualify

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, weekends off

• Shifts begin between 3AM and 6AM

• Local route, home every day

What you'll haul

• Food and beverage products delivered to customer locations

What the job involves

• Drive safely to customers and hit scheduled delivery windows

• Unload product by hand, two-wheeler or pallet jack into the customer's storage area

• Confirm each delivery with the customer and collect signatures

• Handle payments or collections where needed

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip equipment checks

• Lift, carry, push or pull 20 to 80+ lbs of product repeatedly through the shift, in all weather, with 10 or more stops per shift

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL from your state of residence, with required endorsements and DOT qualifications

• At least 21 years old

• At least 6 months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or 3 months in food or beverage delivery

• Able to drive manual transmission (preferred, and may be required in some locations)

• Able to read and speak English well enough to understand road signs, communicate with officials, and complete reports

• Must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse, a DOT-required database tracking CDL holders' drug and alcohol violations
