About this job
Drive a local route out of Rancho Cordova delivering frozen dough and baked goods to restaurants, stores and bakeries, with touch freight and home time every day. Schedule runs Monday through Friday with early dispatch and 10-12 hour shifts.
Pay
- $28.00 per hour plus overtime
- Paid weekly, with typical weekly earnings of $1500-1600
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Dispatch around 4:00-4:30 AM
- Shifts run 10 to 12 hours
- Home daily, though if an overnight route is needed your hotel is arranged and paid for in advance
What you'll haul
- Day cab with a reefer trailer
- About 300 pieces per day, palletized and boxed, mostly sorted by stop
- Heavy touch freight: you'll use an electric pallet jack and hand truck, move product to the lift gate, and bring it in for the customer to check in
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A with a clean driving record
- At least 1 year of driving experience within the past 5 years, including touch freight experience
- No more than 3 points on your license in the last 3 years
- No theft or felony convictions in the past 7 years
- Minimum age 21
