Local CDL-A Delivery Driver — $33/hr, Home Daily

QCD is hiring a local Class A CDL driver in La Puente, CA to run daily restaurant delivery routes on an EV tractor-trailer. You'll be home every day with no layovers, working solo in a union position within a 24/7 operation.

Pay

• Starting at $33/hour

• Paid weekly, every Friday

Schedule

• Dispatch runs between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM

• No overnight layovers, you return home each day

• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays

What you'll haul

• Food products delivered to restaurant customers on local routes

• Trailers have lift gates, no ramps

• This is a touch-freight job: you'll load and unload with hand trucks or pallet jacks, including repetitive lifting of 75+ lbs

• Handling return loads and keeping equipment and deliveries compliant is part of the job

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card

• At least 1 year of experience driving and delivering with a tractor-trailer

• Able to lift between 5 and 75+ lbs and stay physically active through the shift, including work in coolers and freezers

• Good communication skills for working with dispatch, store staff, and other drivers

• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays

• Able to perform vehicle inspections, keep DOT logs current, and meet compliance standards, including English reading and speaking ability as required by DOT rules

• Prior experience in a unionized workplace is strongly preferred
