Local CDL-A Delivery Driver — $32.00–$35.00/hr

Our company is hiring a local delivery driver in Oxnard, CA to run daily routes delivering industrial gas products to customers on first shift. You'll handle freight, paperwork and customer service on each stop.

Pay

• $32.00 to $35.00 per hour, based on experience

What you'll haul

• You'll make around 10-12 stops a day delivering and picking up products, touching freight as part of the job

• You'll count and log the quantities and types of product at each stop

• You'll fill out hazardous material shipping paperwork to meet DOT requirements

• You'll do pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and flag any repair or maintenance needs

• You'll work directly with customers and coworkers to keep deliveries running smoothly

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, and able to read and write English

• Valid Class A CDL, with either 2 consecutive years of driving experience or a recent truck driving school certificate

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Hazmat endorsement required, or you can obtain one within 60 days of being hired

• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the last 2 years

• No alcohol-related convictions in the last 10 years

• Must pass a DOT physical and hold a valid medical certificate

• Able to push, pull, move or lift at least 75 pounds
