About this job
Our company is hiring a local combination delivery driver in Des Moines, IA to run a set route delivering beverage products to stores. You will hand-unload your truck with a dolly or electric pallet jack, stock shelves and coolers, and build relationships with store customers. No prior experience is needed; hands-on training is provided after you're hired.
Pay
- $30.68 per hour
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, starting at 5:00am and running until the route is complete
- Be ready to put in extra hours or work weekends when needed
- Route stays local
What you'll haul
- Beverage products delivered to both small and large retail stores
- Equipment used can include tractor trailers, pup trailers, box trucks, 28 ft, 32 ft and 53 ft trailers, side-load delivery trucks, and trailers with lift gates, along with pallet jacks, hand trucks and dollies
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Able to keep a qualifying DOT driver file in good standing
- Capable of repeatedly lifting, pushing and pulling at least 50 pounds
- High school diploma or GED preferred
