About this job
Our company is hiring a local CDL-A delivery driver in Orlando, FL to supply small retail stores on a set route. You'll unload product by hand dolly, keep shelves and coolers stocked, and build relationships with store customers. No prior experience needed; training is provided after you're hired.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, starting at 5:00am and running until your route is complete
- Be ready for extra hours and occasional weekend work
- Routes stay local
Pay
- Starts at $29.26 per hour
- Increases to $30.79 per hour the quarter after your 6-month work anniversary
What the job involves
Expect to spend most of your shift on your feet rather than behind the wheel, lifting, pushing and pulling product cases. You may work with equipment such as tractor trailers, pup trailers, box trucks, 28, 32 and 53 foot trailers, side-load trucks, liftgate trailers, pallet jacks, hand trucks and dollies.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- At least 21 years old
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Able to repeatedly lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds
- Must qualify for and keep a valid DOT Driver Qualification File
